Man that sounds like fun. Wish I could go! I was over there in late-May. Rained every day but still had a blast. We stayed at Deal's Gap which was perfect. Right in the heart of things. We rode the Dragon a couple of times and the BRP over to Asheville. Then back to the interstate for us as we were heading for the coast. I remember the town of Cherokee was pretty cool. Lots of souveneir shopping and big casinos if you're into either of that.

I remember staying on US129 south of the dragon was cool. Goes right by the dam. I believe the Cherohala is down that ways.
