#238160 Roadkill1962 (User) ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ Platinum Boarder Posts: 3110 Off to Las Vegas in the morning! 2 Years, 2 Months ago   Well, I decided to go at the last minute...was planning the ride to go to a trade show & try to drum up some business, then changed my mind...then changed it back again at the last minute. Just finished "winterizing" the bike for the ride with my engine bar chaps, sheepskin seat cover, tall windshield, adjusted tire pressure, etc, etc. 635 miles on I-40 (ugh) in one day, then back on Thursday. We'll see how I hold up. Actually, I have a lot more confidence in the bike than me! Only concern is the temps...highs are in the 50s the whole way, but it's gonna dip down at night into the 40s in Vegas. Here, it'll get down to 20. I just better be back here on Thursday before dark... Wish me luck!
