Sturgis Ms 2 Years, 9 Months ago
Is any one going to Little Sturgis this week end? I've been out of pocket for about a month and am going to ride somewhere. I hear that Villiage Cycle center in Starkville is hoisting a big ride and cooking. Does ant one have details? Buck

Looks like Saturday for me also. Maybe I will see you there. I will be parked close to the park entrance.

I'm wanting to ride down but it's gonna depend on how work goes this week. We have gotten extremly busy and these 12 and 13 hour days have been taking a toll on me in this heat.

I usually make the trip up from Hattiesburg, but this year it fell on the same weekend as the Bristol Race.
I already had the Bristol tickets before I realized it was the same weekend

BTW: Sturgis, Ms. is the hottest place in the south

I had planned to ride over but it worked out that I'm going to be in Ky riding this weekend. I'm not heartbroken cause just like Fantom said... it's the hottest freakin' place there is and they always pick the hottest weekend.

I used to go every year from Tupelo, but like y'all said: "hottest place, hottest week-end." We usually got there around 9:00 AM, checked out the 5,000 bikes on the 5 acres of the tiny town of Sturgis, got too hot by 10:30, rode to Starkville to eat (because there are absolutely no restaurants in Sturgis), drank about 2 gallons of sweet tea at Applebee's & headed back home to Lee County (after stopping to pee in West Point because of all the tea!).
