Jumping back in a bit late, but gonna try to get a day or two of vacation to go - any suggestions on lodging? I am really thinking of staying at the Kettle campground - no tent, but a sleeping bag  Looks like they have a bath house - what more should I need LOL? |

Here is an Idea, they have an onsite RV that will sleep 6 - 8. It's $65 per night just bring linen for the bed and your set (I'd still use a sleeping bag). I might go ahead and rent one, so if anyone who hasn't already booked a room or a campsite... give me a shout SOON!! 920-217-7778 (my cell)

for every one that is camping, why don't you partner up and just split a room, cost would then be roughly 40 bucks a person, and if you get a room with 2 queen beds, and then add a roll-away bed, cost would then be down to 30ish bucks a person. Just a thought is all..... the gal that was going to join me has cancelled, so it will be just the pops and I. almost time to head out....

Had the same thought, but if I get the RV, we've got the full kitchen, and on the campgrounds, so we can make a campfire.....don't try that in your hotel room  Plus it's $65 for each night, and if I can split that with one other, it's $32.50 and there is plenty of room for another couple or 2 more singles.... and then it's just $16.25 a night or 3 way split for $22 each. and LOTS of room. If no one shows, I can handle the $65 per night better than the $80.
What happened to Trike chick? Did we scare her? We really aren't scary... I think

Trike Chic (Marie) called me Thursday and said she has alot of stuff to handle before she heads out to arizona last week in Sept. She figured that taking this trip would keep her from getting things done before her aeozona trip. She may call me back and change her mind, after all she is a woman and she does love to ride.

guys, i got my months messed up.i thought it was in october..   ..still cant make it,work is slow. btw there is a huge biker rally at lake of the ozarks the same weekend.so if your cutting thru missouri on friday you will notice alot of bike traffic. |
