Need Route Advice - MN to MO 1 Year ago

A friend and I are riding from Fergus Falls, MN to Kimberling, MO leaving May 14. Looking for some advice on routes meaning some nice quiet back roads thru Iowa and Missouri. He and I are not fans of super slabs unless time is tight. On this trip neither the time or the planning is tight which is the way I like it. I believe Kimberling is in the Table Top Lake area which looks to have some beautiful areas to ride when we get there. Any road suggustions for the ride down and when we are in that area would be appreciated. Thanks.

You're right, lots of nice winding roads around the lake, only bad thing is they've had so much stinking rain lately. My dad lives near there and said that Table Rock Lake is at a record level, they actually closed down the Kimberling City Bridge a week or so ago due to water hitting the bridge at the south end. Once you get into the Branson area, you'll find plenty of pretty riding and lots of attractions.

I know Kai is from KS, maybe he will chime in here in a bit..
