Asheville Bikefest..... 2 Years ago

SUCKED!!!!

Rode up early Sunday morning and saw maybe 4 vendors and I think it was 4 or 5 manufacturers, other than that nothing. Last year was kinda slow but I figured it being the first year it would take some time....I think this will wrap them up. With Maggie Valley and Myrtle Beach both going on around the same time maybe they need a better weekend, but like I said I think this past one will end it. Pretty day to ride anyway. Took the long way back down the mountain via the BRP to Brevard then back down thru Rocky Bottom to highway 11.

I agree.. I was there Friday and went back Saturday hoping for more vendors, but it wasn't so.... Maggie Valley was suppose to be in April but moved to this weekend for some weird reason which is why I think it hurt the Asheville bike Fest. Either way I was not impressed. The only good thing I got from it is I got to talk to a Yamaha rep for a good long while.... RussB

Yeah me to. I also...and almost hate to admit it...but I took a test ride on one of the can am spiders or whatever they callem. I GOTTA HAVE ONE. The factory rep did give me the stink eye twice when my buddy and I passed him. I told him I had to see what she would do before investing.
