Wow, Kai, I think we may have gotten lucky with the weather. Good thing it wasn't this week. The weather was terrible all the up to north of Joplin, Mo. Had we been coming home today we may have been in all of the mess is Joplin; 24 dead so far; devastation everywhere. I also saw where Meridan and Topeka got hit.

The news just said that an F5 Tornado hit Joplin, MO. 25% of the city is gone. The tornado hit their hospital St John and they are evacuating it...



If you are a praying person, please offer up a prayer for the people of Joplin...

Guy named Bill from Houston, Texas just called and said he made reservations at Supper 8 Motel. Texas Scott, he said he was kinda waiting to see what you would do. He was going to make it a 2 day trip and start thursday stop in Oklahoma, then into Kansas Friday. Hey call me and let me know when you guys are here and introduce yourselves to each other...I'll be there around 4-5 pm friday and take you guys to the BBQ at Eldo Lake. See ya then!!!!

I just spoke with "Tracy" at the Front Desk. and she found the individual rooms assigned to our Group " Roadstar Clinic" We do have rooms there for 43.00 a night and 50.89 after taxes. Ask them to look for a note left by Tracy. Kai

Well the bad news is, I'm not gonna be able to make it to the M&G. I was looking forward to the ride, but just didnt realize that it was Memorial Day weekend until now. Already have plans for the weekend. Sure will miss meeting up with everyone. Hope all are safe and have a great time.
