Blue Ridge Parkway 12 Months ago
Did any of you folks ride the Parkway over the Memorial Day weekend? My girlfriend and I rode from Asheville N.C. up to the end in Waynesboro Va., there were thousands of bikes on the BRP and I seen loads of Roadstars and wondered if any were members here.

Here's a link to a better detour than the Park Service route at the Blue Ridge Parkway closure near the Bluffs Lodge. The stone wall repair will go well into the summer. This route should get you away from the traffic and onto some really fun roads.

Man oh man, we can ride year around in South Florida, but it's nothing like the Blue Ridge and other northern country side. It's just flat and palm trees here.

It's one of my regular rides, I usually start at the bottom and began the ride with a ice cream from the stand at the corner where you turn off 70, at the top hit the Parkway back to Asheville.
