Another 500 today, laying low in the motel room where they shot the movie Phyco.
North American warhorse in Dunmore PA hooked me up with a new skin, but now I have a squeeky belt??????????? It's not riding up the side though. Any thoughts?

PS. Go Vancover and congrats Winnipeg!!!

According to Doc awhile back, if it's chirping on decel, then it's too loose. He said to tighten it back up about an eighth of a turn on each side 'til it stops. Link

When does it squeak?

Lived in Winnipeg watching the Jets so I'm glad to see hockey come back there.

Thought I would throw and update out here for gunner. Just got a fews text messages from him, he is just leaving Nashville TN heading toward Memphis. He is not sure if he is gonna make it this far tonight probably more like Jackson. He also said that he got the belt squeek fixed last night and the scoot is running strong and that HE is the weak link in this journey with this heat, (mid 90's). Just thought you guys might like to know he is having a good run.

Any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: I SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY. John F. Kennedy Aug. 1963

Heres the scoop, the belt was chirping on accel only. I was sure it was the belt tension because it was the only thing that had changed other than the tire. Although the edge didn't apear to be riding up the side the teeth of the belt were. Half a turn more tension on the other side sorted it right out. The tally for today is... and I swear i'm not BSing is 666mi. I dont know if thats good or bad. Almost got turned into a greasy spot in Knoxville, this lady was cutting in and out trying to get ahead in the rat race and she didn't see me and almost performed the PIT maneuvre on me. I lifted my leg out of the way and gassed her and I still don't know how she missed me.

CPOretired sorry I couldn't strech it out a bit more, yesterdays tire got me off by a couple hundred miles.

Hey Doc, I was posted in shilo before and grew up in MB. Go Jets go!

Lefty My ass actually feels bruised!?! I've been real good up to today mid run. I am surprised it took two and a half days to sore up. This is my first long haul with my new PCS potatoe chip seat.

More updates to come...........

Got into OKC at 4pm yesterday after putting on another 550 ish. Spent the night and went down to the bricktown to take in the night life. Had a blast at the piano bar.
Got into Ft. Sill this AM and checked in. My first duty is to go to Ft. Smith and work at the ANG range there for a couple days. So back I go! Got a rental truck though, to haul all my work gear.

Thanks for all the support I rerceived on the forum. Stand by for the next leg.
