Hey Jim give me a shout when you get ready. I'll meet up with you in Louisville.

Four Roses dropped out of the trail this year but Wild Turkey just opened up their new distillery.
That just means you don't get a stamp for your pass port. We can still raid the booze. Unless they closed the place down altogether.

We started and finished in one day. There are lots of interesting flavors of bourbon out there. It was a blast to be out on the road with another bike that could keep up the pace. The one day trip is grueling and avoid McDonald's in Springfield. Food poisoning turned out to be the main course. The wife got sick too after we got home and all she had was sneak fries.(Stolen from tray.) Even with that bit of unpleasantness it was a good day. Mission completed, no one down, no one left behind.
Here is what I would recommend: Make it two days, and spend the night in a motel and hit it fresh the next day. Or wait till the weather cools off. The temperature exceeded 100 degrees in some areas. I'm not talking heat index either.

Yes that is a big deal around here. I think it would be real easy to blow several months of salary on ammunition in just one day! Especially the mini-gun that they have the video of. I think that is the longest continuous burst I have ever heard. Just think of all the chrome you could buy with the money burned on that range. It is on Highway 44 between Dixie Highway and Highway 65 south of Louisville. Noisy bunch of people, I would rather listen to the exhaust note of a Roadstar.

Looks like you guy's and gal had a blast with exception of the heat.
Dennis glad to hear FourRoses is still in there. Word was we got here was they were going to pull out because of cost. Hope they changed their minds.

Jim you look right at home there by 'ol Booker. Surprised he didn't offer you a sip

Well I hope I can do the next one with you all. Great pics too.

Martin.

Oh, this WILL happen again. It was one of the best rides I've been on in a long time. 187 mile mission to complete the passport. Riding with a purpose!

I definately will want to do this again this year.
