Well it aint hot yet but it wont be long. Keep the suggestions coming and we will come to an agreement soon. Does anyone have a link to one of those sites where you all join the same group and your name show up on a big map where you live so everyone has an idea of your location? Unless thats too much PII on the net, let me know.

I'm in SoCal also, and would definitely try to make a Yuma meet & greet! I typically have to work a weekend or two each month, but with a little advanced notice, I can usually trade around to get whatever dates I need off.

I would love to get involved in a ride in AZ. I live in Phoenix but would ride just about anywhere in AZ just to meet up with some of you folks. I haven't made any long rides yet but I think I'm up to it now.(my body may disagree but it and my brain will work it out). I'll keep checking this out to see what you all think....DAN

Im in too. Jerome, Show Low, Prescott, Sedona, Payson, Strawberry, Flag, all are great places to ride and meet up in the summer and we only got about a month left here in Phoenix before summer shows up. Bike week is coming up here as well, I think so that might not be a bad time to hook up here in the valley.

I think Prescott would be a good central location for us all.Wiskey Row to hang out and Jerome & Yarnell are really close, so is sedona from prescott. When it starts to warm up it's a great place to go to be in cooler weather.

Did this happen yet? I'm still up for a ride, hot or not. I ride in this heat everyday so no biggie. I am looking forward to a ride nearby. Up north of Phoenix is nice right now, except for the monsoon. I love to ride, but not so much when I'm wet. Please let me know what's up. Thanks

Re:AZ meet and greet? 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Danimal,

As far as I know it has not happened yet. I'd be happy to get the ball rolling and say that September is right out for me but I still have The 19th 20th or 21st as possible dates in August, but we should do it somewhere up North if we do August, and/or we could look at the first weekends in October as that is some great riding weather here in AZ. I know it was one of our brothers from Yuma that got this ball rolling back in April and I am not opposed to heading to Yuma either I am just not that keen on doing it in August unless we are jumping in the Colorado river while we are there. I ride everyday as well here but an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon heading into the sun both ways kind of dampens my enthusiasm for pleasure riding in this heat unless there is a seriously "cool" reward to it.

With that said, I think if we plan on the first weekend in October (the 1st or 2nd of October) then it might give some people that are not that far off a bit of notice to make some plans to attend.

So How about all you AZ and SO Cal and even NM and NV dudes and dude-ettes chiming in on a Fall Meet and Greet on Ocotober 1st or 2nd?

Wayne

Re:AZ meet and greet? 1 Year, 10 Months ago
I'm a lucky man in that any date pretty much works for me. The only problem I ever have is money. It's like my dad says "when you have time there is no money, but when you have the money, there is no time". I do however have a nice ride and a gas card. I consider myself irresponsible enough to use the card, I know my wife would agree! Just give me any date that isn't September 5 th for that is my anniversary. I anxiously await the date.....Dan
