Man that's a long ride. Watch out for those Mexicans. They might not be as nice as the ones here in the US.

T-F-S-S 4 days and about 800 miles on the Electra Glide and Roadie.

Our first trip on the Roadie. My wife loves it. She needs a new seat and about 2 inches of pullback on the bars, otherwise she likes it just the way it is set up.

We left Macon and rode to Panama Beach on Thursday. Friday we headed over to Destin. Saturday we cruised around Panama City, then headed home on Sunday.

Great riding weather, light traffic, lots of places to eat, nice room on the beach.

We didnt want to come home.

Blew through there 4 or 5 hours ago myself! The wife and I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Destin the last two nights....We high tailed it out of there just ahead of the front coming through. What a nice long beautiful ride between Destin and Deland Fla. (400 miles each way). We traveled SR20 to 267 to SR27 through Ocala and on home to Deland. Loved it!

Spent many a summer and a few spring breaks down there in Panama City. Great place still today, although I preferred it back in the day before it got SO popular. Last coupla times I was there it was overrun with way too many people for my taste. Check out Gulf Shores or Orange Beach in Alabama next time you take a run down that way. It's about an hour past PC and much less congested.

TBD

I'm a Panama City area local. Travel east on Hwy 98 thru Tyndall AFB to Port St Joe. Continue east and follow signs to Cape San Blas (State Park, small user fee), which can be seen from the beach in Port St Joe across the bay. It's almost like a private beach. Been there when it was just me and the wife all day and that was during tourist season. They have camp sites, RV sites,a shower and changing rooms next to the beach. If you are looking to enjoy the beach and sun and not the crowds (and drunk college kids) it beats fighting the crowd in PCBH. Watch for (don't speed) the police thru Tyndall AFB and Mexico Beach!!! I'm trying to put some scenic bike routes together and get our Tourist Development and local businesses to promote the riding in Gulf, Calhoun, Franlkin, and east Bay county areas. A lot of good roads and countryside. Enjoy the ride!!!

We were at that concert, Allman Bros and Phil Lesh. Great concert, they jammed for hours. The Wharf has some pretty good concerts, I live 20 miles north of there and my wife works in O.Beach.
