Mt st. Helens memorial ride 1 Year ago
So today was the Mt. St. Helens memorial ride, made it to Castle Rock, Wa in the sloppy rain soaked to the skin. Decided riding in the rain in the mountains was probably not the best idea, so we took some great backroads home, now I'm finally warming up, and ready to tackle this event next year. If your in the area around May 18th, or any time for that matter, check it out, one of the most beautiful roads in the northwest, too bad it was raining.

There are some great roads around this part of the state, I ride to Couger a couple times a year through Amboy.

Are you going to Seaside this year? I think it is the second week end in July.

A buddy of mine was riding up there when the mountain exploded. Luckily he was many miles away and upwind, he said it was a very surreal experience.
