I would vote for someplace outside the Metro-mess with some good chow and great roads, with urban space minumized, but hey, I'm a rider, not a tire kicker. Later on this year, I'd say Hill-Ellis-Johnson County. Lots of the best roads are in work right now, but It'd be choice later.
I'd love to be able to make it, but my calendar is gonna be narrow the rest of the year.

As for BBQ, I'm kinda partial to Red, Hot & Blue or Bonedaddys. Both have good food, but the "atmosphere" is better at Bonedaddys. We often say that the ribs are good and so is the food.  I know of 3 on the North side of town. Grapevine, Plano and Richardson. If we want to get further out of town, I'm interested in going but can't help much. |
