I got mine from Yamaha of Warren off their eBay auction. Ended up paying less than $100 including the shipping.

I don't buy anything until I shop eBay motors first.

I also have one from MC Enterprises that uses the licsense plate to mount. I went with the one rated for 20 lbs, because I needed to mount a tour trunk. I think I paid $135.

Hi this is ours on our 1700 - the guys on the forum think its to big but it does the job and it can be removed in minutes with the bolts in the saddle bags.

I just got mine from the dealer and I must say that the installation was easy and I'm very happy with it! It attaches to the side arms and back rest very easily and it looks sharp. I paid $102.56 for it.

Musky, did the rack you have fit just fine? I got mine yesterday, and tried to install it today, only to find out that when I line up with the passanger seat bolt on top of the fender, I am about inch and a half too long to attach to the light/lic plate housing.

I have send an email to Cruiser Customizing, hope to get this sorted out.

Cheers
