I got a colonoscopy right at 50 and was glad I did, lots of piece of mind. For all you guys out there over 50 that haven't get in and do it. Not that big of a deal. If you are a motorhead like me then have them only about half knock you out. I watched on the monitor and I have to say that was one of the more interesting videos I ever saw. A tour of your innards is something to behold.
then again I helped with my vasectomy and pulled my own stitches out so maybe I'm the exception

Been through a few surgical procedures myself. I think the hardest part was gettin' my bearings after awakening. I know I hate catheters!  Good luck, Curt.

I was just more or less wondering how out of comission I would be after it. Sounds like I won't be at all. I have yearly check up and I see my regular VA Dr every 6 months so this just came on all of a sudden because I had just seen my Dr a week before. This they found in my yearly check up and I had a skin problem called falicalitus or some thing like that. That was a form of infection in the hair roots that looks like chigger bites. That could have caused the PSA to be high I guess. Any way I'm ready just want to kow if I would out of comission for any length of time. Thanks again to all of you.
