I've had it done 5 years ago; it was not exactly pleasant, but neither was it painful. Just uncomfortable. No dignity, that's for sure. But I drove myself down, and drove home. First pee is a bit like peeing razor blades, but other than that it's nothing a man can't take. Mine was negative and the elevated PSA was due to some infection. Hope it's a similar story for you.
