Won't Start? 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
The R* has a starter relay correct? Anyone? I rode to the doctors today on the way back to work rode for 42 miles in 110 degree heat. Stopped bike to put in my shop and she would not start. Will the relay shut down if overheated? Or any other things I should look at?

The kill switch is right all that happens is a click in the right side of the bike when I hit the starter!

Just out of curiosity, have you checked the voltage on your battery when hitting the starter button? Wonder if your battery took a dump.

I tested my starter by runnng a cable from the battery directly to the starter to eliminate battery and starter as being the problem..and if the starter turns over its either wiring or the relay..Coug

That sounds OK to me. Try jumping it as Cougar suggested above. That'll let you know if it's the starter or the relay.
