Yes it was. However I am getting a little fed up with the "We havent forgotten you cruisers" line while seeing literally nothing but discontinued cruiser models. In the next 3-4 years I am going to buy a brand new bike, I am very heavily leaning toward an Indian Chieftain but if I were to see a strong commitment from Yammy I would have no problem staying with the brand, but it better be soon, it better be good, and it better be loaded.

Couldn't agree more. I hope to retire in about 3 years and would like to get a new bike. If a new Star hasn't come out, I maybe leaning towards a Triumph Thunderbird LT.

I love my Triumph Speedmaster. I'll have a Thunderbird when I have room for a third bike, or can part with one of the bikes I have now. Just haven't been able to part with either so far.

Just an FYI, Consumer Reports has begun to poll their readership about bikes, and created a frequency of repair record for the major brands.

Beemers were the very worst by far, and not close behind BMW was the Mo-Co. They were far away from the rest of the pack... and leading the whole show, as the best brand, was our very own beloved Yamaha! Just sayin'.

I haven't checked this very latest April issue, where I expect the latest results are, but that was where they stood last year.

I read a similar report several years ago. Yamaha on top, HD in the middle and BMW on the bottom.

The BWM also has a very similar seating position to the Honda, so if you dont like the Honda...

Cool video but what the hell are they trying to sell? Discontinued bikes

I would've stuck with them if they would actually come out with something I wanted. I've been a loyal Yamaha fan for almost 17 years. Jumped ship to Honda (F6B ) just a couple months ago because Yamaha doesn't offer a big, powerful cruiser with a lot of options (heated grips, cruise control, decent suspension, decent power, good stereo in fairing, etc.)

I still love the R1 and they had something with a lot of potential in the 1900 motor but they screwed that up somehow.

Rumor is they are coming out with something this summer. Sure would be cool if they did.
