Sounds like you all had good weather that weekend. I'm thinking of going next year as well.
How far is that camp ground from Lloyds ? I think Mr. Jeff stayed at.

Ela Campground is maybe 1/4 mile. They have tent sites, cabins, rv rental and rv spots.

Yes we have stayed there the last two years, just make sure they put you near the bathhouse if your camping. We tent camped the first year and we stayed in our converted cargo trailer this year . $170 for 7 days

So, if your planning the 11-17th, I'll start out on the 8th and arrive home on the 23rd. Just got figure out where I'm going before and after.

As for our 5 days there, I'm taking a few days for slower/shorter routes - more site seeing and pictures. Hard to appreciate the region when traveling 80mph.

So, Kyle, I'm freakin old.

You can go 90mph around curves and still stop at a few overlooks to appreciate the beauty of the place. Best of both worlds

That's what I do anyway
