current loss 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
With my running lights on i'm losing about 1 volt of charging power, going from 13.5 down to 12.5, any way to remedy this?? my batteries not getting enough charge

thanks doc i havent noticed any trouble until i mounted lights under my floor boards, then today the batt was dead, checked out everything and thats what i need "MORE POWER" or less lights naww more power

Get a battery tender or equvilent and hook it up often. More power sounds good too.

If you buy a used stator and rectifier It needs to be off an 05 or newer.

The stock 1600 charging system can barely keep the battery charged with the stock setup. Once you start adding additional load it craps out.

What is your idle speed? I turned down my idle yesterday and my lights look like strobes when I'm at a light... Kicked up the RPM's back up to 900 and the lights are steady again...
BTW: I'm running a full compliment of RTB controllers, passing lamps and LEDs plus a neon strip...

so would this be sufficient to run two extra lights under my floors, cause i really hate gettin stranded...

You have the newer stronger system. dmfarms has an 02 and the system is pretty weak.
