Came into work today, and the other guy that works here says, oh you got my message..
I say What message, he says about the truck... I'm clueless and go what do you mean.
He says they stole it last night, I think for a second and realize it wasn't in the lot next to where I park the R*.. Then I think why, its an 88 work body with a boom bucket gets 6 miles to the gallon and had no gas to get very far. Then it hits me stealing the power lines with the bucket.. just waiting for the phone call that the police found it with a dead body on the ground from electricution by stupidity..
anyways not getting much work done today.

Almost everyday on the local news around here, you hear of folks getting their AC condensors ripped right out of the back yard..can't imagine they would be worth more than about 15-20 bucks at the scrap yard, but I guess if you have enough of them..

I live in the middle of nowhere...but I keep the Freightliner under the pole light at home now....idiots are stealin' fuel around here. Not only does it light up both sides of the truck but, from my bedroom window to that light is exactly 100 yards and thats what my AR15 is sighted in at.....take the guess work out.

In my area of Ontario we have actually had hugh rolls of wire stolen from sites. this stuff weights a ton or more some of it. Clearly not a low budget theif. And yes AC condensors are a big ticket item here too. the aluminium is worth a lot in large quantites. They will also cut them right out of the front off your car while it sits in the driveway so beware.
Clearly this is escalating along with drug use. Time for our govenments to step up and get rid of this scourge in our society. they can do it but seem to lack the will.

Amazing guys all the same type of thefts are happening here in Australia, fuel and scrap metal prices are ridiculus. Petrol Station drive offs have increased a lot and so have assault and battery. Kids are just going crazy as well. A sign of the times unfortunately........
