Around here they're stealing the copper grounding lines from cell towers, electricity transfer stations, etc.. Price of metal has gone way up apparently. They've even stooped so low as to steal catalytic converters out of cars. They'll park next to a car, crawl under it and within 5 minutes drive away with your converter and it's precious metals. SUV's and trucks are prime targets cause they sit higher off the ground. Scumbags!

About 50 miles from me they finally busted a guy stealign catalytic converters out of cars. And of all places to do it.. A walmart parking lot.. lol.. it is getting bad.

Obviously, I lead a sheltered life. Don't hear about those sorts of things around here.

The only thing I've had stolen is the logo off the back of my Honda.

I think the Canadian govt is a little more active in regulating the corporations, around here the corporations run the govt..that's why were in the economic mess were in..IMHO

Here in Georgia they have been known to steal aluminum power poles ....yep the whole dam thing as well as catalytic converters for the palladium and some guys got electricuted a few months back trying to take the wiring from a power company substation....SHOCKING... killed both of them....Coug

A plaque .. on a Royal Canadian Horse Artillery Monument stolen...

YEP it was copper....
