Another Geek here. I'm an IT manager, IT Security officer, Compliance Officer and procurement specialist for a large manufacturing company. Still wear a lot of hats. Responsible for 8 sites. Past lives as Engineering Mgr, Quality Mgr, Programmer, Machinist, Business analyst. When I grow up I'm not sure what I want to do...I'm hoping to hit the lottery

I guess the geek thing doesnt stick for me. I came into work in my leathers last winter and one of the newer guys did a head-jerk and threw his wallet at me...said "take my wallet but just don't hurt me!!"

When I look at my bike I think about what I need on it and how I can design and make it.

I manage a group home for alzheimer's and dementia residents. I'm also a nurse, but don't use many of my nursing skills these days. My day consists of keeping the residents happy and healthy. Dealing with staffing issues (I remember when they were called problems ), family member issues, and a little bit of everything else that they throw at me daily.
