I think you about said it there Curt, that's why when folks ask, "should I adjust or change my jets if I change pipes and air filters" the usual answer is "try it first" from the folks in the know. You have to remember, someone in a sweat shop somewhere in the world is assembling these carbs, 2 or 3 hundred a day, and when they do, they have a quota to meet, and will they take time to run the pms in and back it out to the correct turns? .. We can advise all we want to here and guide people in a direction but it ultimately boils down to the rider and his seat of the pants and ears to tell him which way he needs to go with things. Time and good judgement will win in the end.
