Gonna have to chime in on your orignal post about this because this same thing happened to my wifes V-star when she wrecked. The dealer is supposed to fix what is wrong and what the insurance says they can after you and them do the walk around estmate. Well if you catch something later on within resonable time after it is fixed then you point it out and the dealer does an amendment to the claim and insurance approves it. Then dealer fixes it. Thats what they did with my wifes V-star. They can just weld a new nub on there without replaceing the whole frame. Hope this helps ya out a little and not have to give up the bike for totaled. OSO
