Hi Gram, I have an 2000R* with a K&N open side air filter, when it is running and at more than just an idle there is oil leaking every now and then from out of what looks like a plastic type screw directly beneath the air cleaner,at least till I take a closer look that is where it appears to be coming from.It seems to be getting on the front cylinder pipe and the lines behind them.The person I bought from told me about it and said if he ran the oil level in the middle of the stick he didn't have any problem with that ,I just prefer to run it where the manual say's could this be a crankcase breather that need's rerouting.Thank you for any help guy's. SULLY!!
