Nothing for now. That's why I'm water curing. Better than cure and seal and water is pretty cheap

+1

Only problem I've seen so far is the location....it's not at my place.

Don't hate. It's just what is dumb old country boys aspire to. That and a diesel truck with all the trimmings. That's probably a few years off yet.

Just build your own. Only took me about 13 years of busting my ass working non stop and I still might come up a little short in the money department Might have to do the rest over a little bit of time.

Just messin' with ya man. It looks great! And you're doing it right with everything you want. Yes I'm envious, but you've put in the time. Enjoy it when it's done.

It's a beautiful garage. I wouldn't need one that big but I think you have thought of everything. Congrats and well done.

Holly Crap Batman. I see you answered my other post, I thought my shop at 1020sq.ft. was big. No wonder you need radiant heat. Most people could put their house inside and still have a 4 car garage

I can relate to the waiting. I sold my boat which paid for the concrete, lumber & roofing material. I then had to wait till I built up enough to buy insulation, drywall, Stucco etc. My shop took almost 2 years to complete. Of course that's also building it with just my wife & I and both of us have full time jobs. That and I was lucky enough to have a friend who owned a fork lift that he loaned me. I couldn't find friends to help me raise walls so I borrowed a fork lift. I framed the walls in 16' sections then lifted them into place with the fork lift while my wife guided me over the bolts to set them in place. We also used the fork lift to set all the trusses. I would not have been able to build my shop had it not been for that fork lift.

Now not sure what your plans are on flooring but I did the epoxy floor. Not the water based one but the solvent based and I love my floor. It stays shiny. I did buy a full size janitorial mop bucket so that I can keep my floor mopped & clean. I can't wait to see your final finish on the shop. It's going to be awesome to say the least.

Probably just bare concrete on the floor (except in the bathroom).

Just wet the floor down with a sprinkler again and covered it all in plastic. Will stay that way until we get home from the Smokey Mountain trip. Trip is actually great timing. I'll be gone so it won't be tempting to start other stuff on the floor before it's done curing. Don't want to mess up the finish they put on it. It's smooth as glass in most places
