The sleeve for the throttle has a fixed position, the cable attachment limits the location of the sleeve. With that in mind you have to consider the position of the grip when you install it. On the left nothing moves so it has to be installed right. Depending on the glue you used and how much you used, the grip may come off easily or it may not. If you used the glue they gave you and you used lots of it, you will probably destroy things trying to get them apart.
