The official day Mr. Grim is going to the shop is May 31 so I can work with the guy and we can do it together. I've never had anyone do the work, it's weird for me, so I'll be around as much as I can while he does it.

Mr. Grim is was dropped off this morning at the chop shop. I'll be back on Monday and I'll try to get pics of the ruined frame. Till then I'll just have to be patient and hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight.

The green reminds me of a bike I saw that was awesome. It was that green on that are on the forks with silver trible art with big metal flake. I do love black though.

Re:My chopper build 6 Months ago
Okay here's what's happened... On Saturday I dropped off the bike to get the frame work done and the tank built. I rode it down there and spent an hour or so stripping it. I went over the chop plans with the guy doing the surgery and gave him pictures of how I wanted it also. Yesterday (Monday) he called me and said I could pick up the original frontend and the chunk of frame that had been removed.

I wish I had my camera, my daughter broke our last one and my wife and I bought a new camera but we won't get it until Friday. I'll get pics as soon as I can, and I'm sorry I have none to share at this time. But the camera we bought is a 10.1 megapixle so the pics I'll take from now on will be awesome! Anyway, I should also have the springer on by the end of the week, so we'll all get to see that soon. For some of you, I know you've been waiting anxiously, so soon now... very soon.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Sounds great Rip, I am looking forward to seeing that front end dusted off and on the bike.. Have you decided on a color yet, or are you staying with the flat black.
nevermind, I see it is going to be black, sometimes it helps to go back and read the previous posts again.. anyway, there is no color but black for your theme
