I just bought 2 at the local autozone the other day. Part # 65216, size M14-1.50, price $2.88 each. MFG: Oil-Tite!

And as a side note, they do work. Wife brought them down to the computer desk for me and sat them on an old floppy disk I had here...I don't have it anymore!!

the thread size is M14 but the wrench sizes... hex size can vary... M13 / M18 ... .maybe that is where you are seeing differencessometimes people refer to the plugs using the hex size...

Yep I got the M14-1.5 and it is both thread and hex head size 14 as I took the old plug with me .My question is the little cheap washer that comes with it needs to be replaed every oil change according to the packging. What type metal seal am I looking for that is like the original bolt "metal seal" as the one on the original wont come off the plug.I didnt notice this until I got home so I didnt notice if single metal ones were available....Coug

Re:Magnetic oil drain plug size 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
just use the seal that came with the plug ..it is a crush seal I bet..its good

The exhaust seals that we use are crush type gaskets... not like the OEM and have to be replaced everytime..

but check for leaks and yer good to go..

yes the single copper metal ones are available...and a lot of drain plugs ..the seal is integrated into the flange...

but go with the crush gasket ..

The ones I bought (Roadie and Roadliner) both came with the cheapy plastic washer. I bought a box of the aluminum crush washers to go with them. BB
