With where we need to go with the options that Gram is working up, I am certain that each one will need a variety of help from the community to continue. From SQL code people to $$ to people to manage the system. As Gram works through the options we have to keep us running, think about how we can help moving forward will be a good idea. We definitely will need a good team to take over the work that Gram has done keeping our home running so smoothly.

I, also want to say I've meant many good people by way of this forum. I am active in the Lions Club and Masonic Lodge, and, like the Road Star Forum, I've meant made many friends who I would have never meant. It's amazing just how many good people are still available in this day and age !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this might seem like begging but has anyone reached out to the FOE in Celina? They may know of someone willing to host or at least give us ideas?

It is kind of the other way around, we've donated and supported FOE in Celina.
And with the "lighter than usual" turn out last year I don't think it would be an easy move.

Of course ideas from them, or anyone else, are always welcome.
But I don't think we have enough of the details available for others to make good recommendations.

Gram and others have been exploring many ideas, but it is complicated.

As pointed out it not just a matter of money, you need to understand how the site is setup now, the code used, the migration path to a current build, the money going out, they possible money coming in, different possible time tables, etc.

I'm totally non-technical, so I can't be of any technological help.

That said, one of the key things I like about this forum is that the actual format and esthetic appearance and ease of use is HUGE. I've joined other forums in the past, and rapidly lost interest just because they weren't "attractive" and/or user friendly.

This has been the very best on both of those counts since day one when I signed up. If there's any way to maintain the great looks and ease of use, I'd like to be some kind of part of preserving the Clinic... and, if it could actually be improved upon, something I can't see... then, so much the better!

I'm not any big FB fan, though I am on the "clinic" there, but it just doesn't do anything for me like this place has these past 10+ years.

I'm bettin' others feel the very same.

My feelings exactly Quest.
