If it injested a screw and the piston trapped it against an open valve it could have tweaked the rocker arm and you could now have an excess of clearance on that one valve stem.

Something that could be adjusted out by setting both valves on that rocker back to zero clearance.


ive given this lots of thought but its very quiet and smooth until very warm. that makes me think lifter even though I know heat could affect the adjustment as well.
Considering new lifters and pushrods as the next try at this.
