ok i have my tank of and just changed plugs (easy) thanks to all the tech help on here my question is can you rejet without removing carb had barons kit for awhile and thinking on doin it today while tank is off and installing the new speedstar intake
btw barons jet kit has a drill bit, what is for, i dont see any instuctions on what to do with it thanks for any help
bout time for my free beer

The drill bit and screw are for taking the brass plug out of the PMS tower. The first time you jet it's easiest to take the carb off. You have to get the brass plug out and you have to get the stock screws out of the float bowl so you can replace them with the Allen head screws. Any jetting after the first time can be done with the carb on the bike.

I just installed a K&N air filter, the bike has no power now.
Is it possible to adjust the carb. to regain my performance with out rejeting?

well i intalled my speed star intake awhile back and would not run wasnt getting enuff fuel so thats whay im tryin to rejet now

Vito, just changing the air filter without changing the air box, should not have made any difference. Are you sure you didn't leave something unplugged?
Did you just put a new filter in the stock box or did you put on a different box?

I removed the original filter and replaced it with a K&N filter.
They sent me the wrong plug to block off the original air intake, so I covered the the hole with a piece of lite steel and sealed it off.
The original box is still there.

UPDATE carb is off whew we sweating (from being nervous) time 4 a beer break now time the start the jetting

You need to start your own post Vito C otherwise folks will start mixing the two problems up and you won't know whose talking to who,
