#106575 coma44 (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 6 Just got back into motorcycles. 2 Weeks, 1 Day ago   Well after 15 years away from bikes I was looking at finding a used one for better gas mileage. I was looking to get into a v-star 1100 or 1300 But...I found a left over 06' Road Star Silverado Midnight at my local Dealer. Took it for a test ride and bought it the next day. I could not be any happier with the decision to go with the Roadie! This is a bike...the others I rode seemed like Mopeds compared to the Road Star On the 7th day I passed the 900 mile mark! It really feels good to back in the saddle again! I have lots of reading and several questions to ask the folks here! Bought a leftover Midnight Star - non-Silverado. Kinda wish I got the Silverado as I'm likely going to spend a lot more adding my own WS, Bags, etc. I was away from riding almost 10 years. Nothing wrong with knocking the rust off under supervision, your family will thank you for it.
