This is what I've been saying forever the Dyna 3000 is the best KIA you can buy for the R* right under BAK and Pipes. :

Now you just have to get a 31 tooth pulley and hold on

Where we ride it's wide open backwoods roads with not much stop and go so I'm not sure the 31T would do me much good as far as top end goes she does OK now on the take offs. I will know more next time we all ride together that's when they get froggy LOL. If I can't hang with then I might just get that 31T.

Hi, I thought i would add my 2 cents. I have had a dyna 3000 from the start & it makes a big difference in power, I had mine set on 34a & after reading the above I tried 36a I could not feel any diff in power, & the bike did not run as well. so I set it back to 34a Hope this helps

I just ordered mine from Phat Performance, and I'm trying to get it delivered by Wednesday for the ride up to Sturgis.

Good luck with that because shipping speed is the very reason that I don't order anything anymore from Phat Performance. I've only ordered a couple of things from them and I have no complaints about their products but both times it took over ten days for it to get to me with standard ground. I'm too stingy to pay for anything but ground unless I absolutly have to.

At some point I want the Dyna too. Curious - is the Speedstar module's curve similar to 36A on Dyna?

Is it safe to go above 5,500 RPM's?

I have mine set to 5500 rpm BUT you have to be careful because you could damage the motor by hitting the rev there too much. I was hitting the rev limit every so often with it at 5000 so I raised it 5500 and never hit.
