A little advance of the timing curve would be okay though.

If stock is 32, then 34A (2 more total degrees advance should be just what you are ;looking for!

Re:The Dyna 3000 is awsome! 4 Weeks, 1 Day ago
Just received my Dyna 3000.

I have the dip switches set for 5,000 RPM and 34 degrees advance.

It, along with a 31 tooth pulley and Mr.C's universal K&N filter are both already sitting on the bench. It's going to be a great winter!

Since I already have a freer-flowing aftermarket exhaust, and a modified stock box with a K&N in it, and a perfectly operating re-jetted carb, I'm really looking forward to the appearance and performance difference next Spring.

I'll also be hiding my handlebar wiring inside the bar, and since I've no fuel pump, I need to shorten the main tube in the shut-off valve so I can get all my fuel... it presently "runs out" at 3 gallons.

One thing I will be absolutely certain to observe is to add one mod at a time and test for proper operation.

Happy day!

So Bill, what was the deal on that manifold? I was bidding on one that one had the inside turn removed down to the metal (lost that one)... but this one has all the inside plastic removed?

You guys that port manifolds... looks like a DIY job. So what do I do, just remove the edge inside the turn, down to the metal... or remove all the inside plastic stuff?

Remove it all and round the inside corners, makes a big differance, better than just rounding out the corners!!!!!!!!!
