10" apehangers 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Well since I removed my 17 inch apehangers because mr policeman didn't like them I have installed my old beach bars. And I hate them, I figure if I go to a 10 inch apehanger the police won't hassle me and I'll be happy with my bike again. Does anyone have any pics with them. Thanks again.

just move to OKlahoma. as long as they are not above eye level they are legal. Must be more dangerous in CAnada to drive with your hands up.

Isn't if strange that there is so much varation from state to state on what is "safe" to drive ?

Texas is 15" above the seat. What seat? Where on the seat? Does the back rest count???

I wish you didn"t have to change yours, It looks really good now.

I've got 12 1/4" apes (J&P -$40) on 4" risers. Law here says there're not to be higher than your shoulders so, at 6'3" I'm safe.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the bikes here in PA. A fellow had hangers that I swear he was half standing to reach. These things were UP there. I mean another 2 inches and he would have been standing on the seat to reach em.
Move to Pennsylvania and put em as high as you want...lol

I've got a set of 12" apes we bought for my wifes bike, mounted them in the risers, and she decided she wanted 16" so I took them off and they have been in the shop since.

Do you want to sell them? Can you send some pics either here or to dmcchesney@sympatico.ca , will they fit my roadstar and what diameter are they? Thanks.

Derek
