The new formula has less zinc, better for converters but not for cam & lifters... on cars anyway. Jeff and you can bet the new formula has additives not wet clutch friendly... to compensate for the less zinc to meet API SL/SM standards.. The new triple protection formula that Rotella has is wet clutch compatiable.. I run rotella 15-40 dino in my mx bikes for years and there wet clutch.. There are thousands of threads on rotella on lots of different motorcycle forumns..
