When putting hoses back on use a thin layer of vasolene or silicon grease on the inside of the hose. That will prevent sticking in the future. tip of the day
If you are in a bind and need some similar lube. You can get it from the bridge of your nose. Works great for putting on a 2 piece fishing rod so it will come apart.

So that is where you keep it..I thought ya put a gob of vaseline behind yer ear lobe ..ya Know ..ready for a hot Date..but the bridge of yer Nose will do
