Are you looking for a "hot" wire for power? Check the steps in my $100 passing lamps. You'll find detail in that article for locating the power wire.

If you are going to use it to power the lightbar, need to use use a relay. The blue wire in the headlight bucket only powers when the bike is running. This wire powers the two front running lights. Use this power to turn the relay on (draws very little current). This will also afford you to use the lightbar in either low or high beam.

Thanks a lot. This is what I needed. The blue cable did not have power, but I didn't try to start the engine.

Thanks!
