I got the TT226R-2C, which allows me to reset the hours back to zero if I want to. Either will work for the Roadie tekdiver.

You said that the idle should be set around 900 rpms - why not lower or higher. I just installed a bullet tach from Baron (EASY INSTALL) -works great.

The recommended range is from 850-950, so I just took the middle ground. I've since lowered it to 850. Sounds a bit "cooler" now.

OEM recommended setting and the one you should use when jetting. After wards set it where you want.

I run about it at a fast lop.

Thanks - outside of setting the idle a bit higher in the winter months (when the weather is about 25 to 30 deg) I also like it to lop

Re:Got a Tiny Tach 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Now, I've read in a post or two the lower rpms could affect oil pressure/delivery if set too low. I wouldn't mind setting mine even lower, but I don't want to jeopardize reliability for "coolness". What do you set yours down to Doc? Or do you do it by sound only?

I have a question which I am sure either you or DocShadow can answer - how and what is the best way to attach a photo of your ride to your messages (new to the site)
