hahaha...thats hilarious

They do make horn activated garage door openers tho...as well as I have seen people take apart a remote and hide the guts, then run a wire to a switch. I just carry a little keyfob remote

I like the idea of gutting a remote to work off of the horn switch. I rarly use the horn anyways. Sounds like a good project to try to figure out.

With my luck though, I'll get the wires wrong and will end up opening every garage as I drive by...lol...

You know what would happen if I tried that? I would pull up on a rainy night, tap the horn switch twice and wait for the door to open, then the unit would open the screen window, tap back twice with her .38 and that would be about the end of that....

Mine works that way now..every time I come home I blow my horn and my old lady opens the door....

Thats pretty funny, I dont know if it is true but there is a video on utube that says autoswitch and the guy was using his high beam switch to do open the door. Fifty Yet
