powder coating complete 3 Years, 9 Months ago
Some of you may know that I sent my rims out to be powder coated. I had them done in a colow called illusion amber. It is almost black with copper colored flakes, and then a second coat of forest green colored flakes. So as you move around them they change from a black with copper sparkles to black with green sparkles. They came out better then I could have ever imagined! I dont have any pictures for you today since it is already getting dark out and without the sunlight they really just look black. But I will post pictures of them off and on the bike ASAP. The company that did them is called Plas-Tec Coatings, INC. They are located in South Windsor, CT which I'm sure is not very close for many people on here, but I would recommend the shop extremely highly to anyone that wants anything powder coated. The manager of the shop is the one that takes care of motorcycle parts since he himself rides. He had the rims ready for me two days after I dropped them off. If anyone is interested in having anything done (maybe over the winter) I would be glad to work with you to get your parts to the shop and back to you. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me. I love how they came out!

Glad it came out good for you. Sounds like a good color for the Bike.

Very good to hear.
I'm Ryan Cyr, the owners Grandson and I'm glad to see you're satisfied with the product and spreading the love. Actually got my rims (on my jeep) done too and it's fantastic haha.
