I am always in gear unless I need to mess with my helmet or something at a stoplight when safe.

No disrespect intended. I live in Tennessee, after all. Most of my friends have a bit of a scarlet tone to the backs of their necks. (Me too, actually)  |

that how we learned to drive, on our shine haulers they take the brakes off so no friction, the cars will run faster didn't you know that  |

I guess I am an in-betweener. Sometimes I hold the clutch, and sometimes I go into neutral, depending on where I am. Where I live, some of the traffic lights are long, and you sit for some time. If it's a light that I know isn't going green for a bit, I'll go into neutral. If I know its changing quick, I'll hold the clutch.
