Platinum Boarder Posts: 1115 Starter Clutch HELP 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   Well I got the carb jetting done, putting it back together and guess what, the starter is spinning in the engine now. Did the starter clutch go? Is that something that I can fix if I follow the manual and take it apart? Ohh boy, this might be a trip to the shop. I was really hoping against that. If this works I guess I will be sending in Beer Money.... AGAIN.... Best thing is, the bike is in the garage, I just finished re-jetting the carb and this happened, not 150 miles away from home on a dark and lonely road, at 9:30pm, with a rain starting and a cold front moving in. I'm hearing banjos playing...lol. Anyway, I'm over being pissed because my bike broke while I was working on it.... Now I got to go fix it. I have to run some things down, but you know what, it could have been a lot worse. I did get the exhaust gaskets from Auto Zone....lol. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1115 Re:Starter Clutch HELP 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   Ok the only thing around here that I could find was Permatex Bearing Mount, sounds the same as Loctite as far as the spec's go, so tomorrow the engine is coming apart!!
