#114347 Bikerrrbob (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 2 carb jetting 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I am working on 2005 Royal star, the dealer put on custom exhaust and rejetted the carbs, however fuel mileage has gone way down, so I'm, considering taking the jet size down a notch to help out as well as installing a K&N breather. The thing is I don't know what the stock main jet size is, or any of the factory settings, and I wont know how big the dealer went till I pull the carbs in a few days. I think he may have went way oversize as the bike is eating up the fuel like no tomorow, less than 200 kms on a tank at 110 kms/hr. You might be better served some place like http://www.venturers.org/. They will have more guys experienced with multi carb set ups and what you specific bike requires than we will. Hope this helps.
