As long as your using new sos pads and lots of water there not very abraisive. Try an sos pad, just be gentle, they work great. I had my nylon workout pants melt to my pipes, the only thing that worked for me was an sos pad. Just my 2 cents. The coating is pretty crappy on these spokes. I wouldn't clean 'em with SOS every time if you can help it. You think they would have chromed them from the factory. It works great on pipes. (NOT PLASTIC!) No scratches and gets off the scuffs and gunk. On my spokes though, I just use a 'spoke' brush with a good detergent/water mix to get the brake dust and grease. SOS pads on the white walls sounds like a good plan.   Logged     Black is faster?
