Mine have two screws on the bottom. Outer one holds tips on, and inner one holds baffles. Baffles are a little hard to get out the first time, but worth the trouble for sound enrichment.
I tried several ways with mine before I ended up getting the sound that I liked.
Everyone will have different likes, and dislikes, so experiment a little before you seal everything up.
I ended up wrapping all the baffle holes with 24 gauge sheet metal. I used three stainless steel hose clamps to hold sheet metal on. I then used RTV sealer to seal all seams on sheet metal. I tried no baffles, and baffles half covered, with and without muffler packing, and just wasn't quite the sound I was after.
I then put all muffler packing back in, and used masking tape to hold it on until installed (which
BTW was what mama yama used). The muffler packing gave it that deeper sound I wanted. I tried no packing, and half packing, but seemed to have a somewhat tinny sound.
I really like the sound I ended up with, but does get old on long trips.. It makes hearing stereo a little hard, so I'll justtwist the throttle, and get this big OL grin on my ugly mug!
One more thing. It's all reversable. You can delete it anytime you want, and go back to begining, but I doubt that will happen.
