I was just at my local stealer getting my annual safety inspection, they charge $59 an hour for labor.

Thought it was kinda cool when all the techs had to come look at my RH Classics with serrated heat shields, they we all impressed.

My problem is this, when I fill my bike with fuel, the fuel gauge goes to Empty, no matter where it was when I filled up. Does anyone have an answer for this? It will stay on E for about 20 miles and then go to full. My local dealer wants to check it out and charge me $200 to diagnose the trouble and maybe fix it. Helpppppppppppppppp! I must have the only 05 that doesn't do that. It does creep up to full after filling it up but it doesn't go to empty first, just creeps up from the last position it was in before fill up.

My fuel gauge does the Jekyll and Hyde thing too. I pay attention the my trip meter more than the gas gauge.

Mine will rise up slowly when filled, works perfectly..
if you switch the ignition on and off sometimes its just the connection from the switch..
but the gauge does go up slowly to account for fuel sloshing around.
